NKA Talk With Children

Talk With Children is a Northland-wide campaign developed with NKA to support early communication, connection and language development for tamariki aged 0-6.

The campaign was created to encourage parents, caregivers and whānau to spend more intentional, talk-rich time with young children through simple everyday moments. With screens being a sensitive topic, the message needed to feel positive, practical and guilt-free.

Our role was to create a standalone campaign brand that could sit alongside NKA while speaking directly to the wider Northland community.

We developed the strategy, messaging, visual identity and creative direction, bringing together speech therapist-approved insights, real Northland children, authentic whānau moments and playful illustration. The campaign has since rolled out across TV, cinema, billboards, bus backs, social and digital channels.

Talk With Children is helping bring early communication into the public conversation in a way that feels warm, local and easy to act on.
