ReSport is a Northland charity on a mission to break down the barriers for a ‘sporting experience’ for all. Founded by local changemakers JP Dignon and Joey Yovich, ReSport is rooted in community values, sustainability, and inclusion. Through quality donated sports gear, they’re working to reduce financial hardship, foster community connection, and care for the environment in Te Tai Tokerau.
When ReSport approached PDC Creative, they had a powerful concept but needed help to bring it all to life. With no brand, website, or marketing tools in place, ReSport needed a full creative partner to help transform their passion project into a community movement – that’s where we came in.
We worked closely with JP, Joey and their board members to develop a brand that truly reflected ReSport’s heart and kaupapa. The final logo features a koru pattern wrapped in a sports ball, flanked by helping hands, symbolising new beginnings, community empowerment, and accessibility through sport. The branding is bold, meaningful, and community-first, positioning ReSport as a trusted, values-driven organisation from day one.
We designed and built a clean, user-friendly website to serve as the digital home for ReSport. The site clearly communicates the charity’s vision and the tangible impact of their work, while making it easy for visitors to learn more, support the cause, or request help. With engaging messaging and clear pathways to action, the website empowers ReSport to reach more people, more effectively, across Northland.
To support community engagement, we rolled out the new branding across a range of promotional materials. This included print assets, signage, and large-scale ‘Patakas’ (gear drop-off bins) that can be found across Northland. Every piece reflects ReSport’s approachable personality, helping to build recognition and trust in local spaces where support is needed most.
From a dream to a fully-fledged charity making waves in Northland, ReSport now has the platform and presence to grow their impact. The strong branding, powerful digital presence, and promotional collateral has inspired action and helped more tamariki, whānau, and communities access the power of sport.
